Kakhovka - The Stolen Sea

Description:

“Kakhovka: The Stolen Sea” named after the town where it is set in Kakhovka (Каховка) in Ukraine. Its subtitle “The Stolen Sea” was chosen because of the Russian attack on the Kakhovka Dam which resulted in the flood of the town and the drainage of the reservoir affecting not only many human lives but also the ecosystem. As its name suggests, this game will be set in Kakhovka, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the year 2023. The main character is a  young teenager, who lives in the town, and got caught up in the middle of this attack. As a survivor, he needs to escape his own town that got flooded by using a boat, but he will need to gather resources in order to rebuild it.

We hope this helps spread awareness about what’s happening in Ukraine during these times and the consequences this war is causing, both in human lives and in the ecosystem.

WASD - Movement

E - Interact / Skip Dialogue
